Desert Camp is located in Namib-Naukluft Park, about 5 kilometers from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon. A great spot for nature lovers and photographers, Desert Camp is set among old camel thorn trees and offers clear views of the nearby mountains and desert landscape.
Each of the 28 affordable self-catering units has a private bathroom, a shaded veranda with a small kitchen, power outlets, a barbecue, and a parking space next to it. Each air-conditioned unit has twin beds and a fold-out sleeper couch that can sleep two small children (under 12 years old) for free when staying with two full-paying adults.
Fresh food can be ordered daily, and utility boxes with most cooking tools are available at reception.

Guests can enjoy a variety of desert activities, and meals are available at the nearby Sossusvlei Lodge restaurant. (Please note: no shuttles or transfers are provided, so guests must have their own transport.)
The nearby Sossus Oasis Service Station offers fuel, a well-stocked shop, and an Internet café.
