The hike up to the top of Big Daddy Dune takes around 45 minutes, which is a bit of a workout, but I can honestly say it's absolutely worth the effort. The reward at the end is a fun, exhilarating fall down the sand dune. I was genuinely impressed by how few other tourists were there, which made the experience feel really unique and special. The views from the top were absolutely breathtaking. Note: if you bring your own vehicle, make sure it's a 4x4. We saw several regular cars stuck in the sand that required assistance. Please be mindful of posted signage regarding where vehicles are permitted to drive.
