The Nubib, Tsaris, and Naukluft Mountains surround Little Sossus Lodge, which is only 30 kilometers from Sesriem and offers a beautiful location for exploring the Sossusvlei area.
Little Sossus Lodge, converted from an old farmhouse, gives guests a warm and comfortable base in the quiet desert surroundings. Before enjoying African meals made with fresh vegetables from the lodge’s own garden, guests can relax under the open sky with their favorite drink.
The lounge, with soft leather chairs and unique African decorations, is a great place to rest. There is also a pool in front of the main building where guests can cool off.
Little Sossus Lodge has 19 chalets that can host up to 46 guests. Four of the chalets have four beds each and are suitable for families. The other 12 chalets have twin three-quarter beds. The en suite rooms are built using natural rock found nearby.
All the toiletries, including body lotion, shampoo, and soap, are eco-friendly.
Little Sossus Campsite has three family campsites and seven small campsites. Each campsite has its own bathroom with hot water heated by donkey boilers and is equipped with electricity.
There is a kitchen area at the campsite where guests can cook and clean. Each site has a shaded area for parking a camper or setting up a tent. If you enjoy sleeping outdoors, there is plenty of space to set up a tent under the wide African sky.
Guests can also use a small shop at the campsite. You can order homemade bread and braai packs when you arrive.
